Symptoms of Mesothelioma
Symptoms of peritoneal (abdominal) mesothelioma may include:
- Stomach swelling and pain.
- Abnormalities in blood clotting.
- Intestinal obstruction
If the mesothelioma has spread to other parts of the human body, symptoms may include pain, difficulty swallowing or swelling of the neck or face.
Imaging tests, such as CT scans, PET scans, and x-rays, are also used in biopsies to identify the location of tumors and assess their progress and growth, which is known as the stage of mesothelioma.
Doctors will diagnose it as malignant mesothelioma. You can simply call it mesothelioma. Doctors may find that the tumors are not mesothelioma. In this case, you will be diagnosed as mild mesothelioma.
